  • At home I have a set DML panel speakers set up in a 2.1 channel system with a subwoofer. The panels themselves are made of EPS polystyrene that has been sanded down and coated in wood glue, are about 1 meter tall, 30 centimetres wide and 2 centimetres thick (3 foot 3 inches tall, 1 foot wide and 4/5 inches thick) and have rounded edges and corners. Each panel has a Dayton Audio 10 watt exciter mounted to it on the location recommend on their website. The subwoofer is a ported down firing unit, which I have placed in the corner of the room for corner loading.

  • Wow, when are you going to realize that you work for your users?

Do you pay their salary and have an employment contract with the developers of Lemmy? If not, they do not work for you.

And 2000€ per month is a ton of money. Most open source devs get nothing. Stop being so ungrateful and disrespectful to the community that you work for.

This is not a typical open source side project. The developers work full time on it, it’s basically their job. That 2000 Euros is their monthly gross salary. Average monthly salary in France is 2340 euros net as of 2022. The developers of Lemmy are earning well below average.

  • Why are you seriously posting something from ziq, a person that hates you?

Anyways, why are you taking anything he says seriously?

I just read the first few paragraphs, which include an ahistorical description of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, ignores the CIA’s operations in Afghanistan before 1979 (which they have admitted to themselves) and cites an American professor living in South Korea whose entire job is to write propaganda about North Korea, propaganda which his own peers in the USA and South Korea have criticized and called absurd.

There is little of value here, this is the ramblings of someone that throwing stuff out there hoping it sticks. This is not anarchist theory. The first few paragraphs are less factual than the average descriptions of history that you’d see on liberal/capitalist media or get in a high school history class.

  • No it’s not too late, you’re only 25, that’s pretty young. Yes other people have started dating much younger, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter much. Focusing on yourself and your career and education can be attractive to others, so don’t worry about having “wasted time” or anything. Losing weight if you’re overweight helps, same with gaining weight if you’re underweight. Just be sure that the primary focus is health and ignore all the unrealistic body standards in movies and on social media. You’re doing well to put yourself out there, don’t worry about your friends, I’m sure you’ll find someone single that wants to have a relationship soon. You seem to be on the right track, so don’t worry. Avoid all the weird dating advice on the internet, it’s not helpful.
