@qaz The icon is so small that I was wondering what was that after the last update 😅

@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Very nice wallpaper 👍🏻
@unknown1234_5 All is true but I’m still not convinced. As you wrote, “most apps” and “doesn’t have to”. All these mean it will happen in some cases that you have to press a Meta key to do things you were supposed to be able to do with just your mouse.
@quaff @unknown1234_5 Aesthetics is a matter of opinion and I disagree with you. I think crowded title bars, each in a different way, don’t look good.
KDE was always configurable so I wonder if it’s possible (and how hard is it) to handle both depending on configuration… 🤔
@unknown1234_5 And then you have no place to click on the title bar to move or maximize the window.
No.
@mearce There’s only one thing I like in it: it saves space. Usually, you have a plenty of free space in panels. You can use a bit of this space for a global menu.
@gnawmon I gave up using global menu on any linux desktop environment long time ago. Sadly, many apps don’t handle it, and it’s not the same experience like in macOs.
@lopar49 TBH I’d consider attending a traditional, offline language course if it’s available in your neighborhood. An additional advantage of that is that you can meet new people.
