Did you mean… twice as long?
I use a laundry bag for any sheets to avoid this
Occam’s Razor: The simplest explanation is often the correct one. It’s a whole lot simpler that there’s nothing when we die, rather than the whole afterlife business.
I don’t have any experience with making mods, but I did use a chunk-editing program once. I flew around in creative until I found an area I liked (kind of a valley, with a huge semicircle of mountains on one side, and ocean on the other). I then used the editor to delete a few hundred chunks in a radius around the circle. My objective was to have a finite area to explore around in, so that my incessant terraforming would have an end point. I don’t know if that’s your objective as well, but it’s an option.
I’d highly recommend Distant Horizons to be able to see the whole thing at all times, without relying on render distance 😎
I was disappointed when I saw that there are few roads in the game (my expectations were far too high). I was hoping for, idk, 70% of roads? Really, some sort of driving game using google maps data would be pretty awesome, if a nightmare to process all the images. Hmm, data storage would be an issue too… streaming would be too slow (I think).
I’ve spent more time in minecraft and terraria (and skylim, released in 2011, which I last played in 2023) than I have in any other games, and those aren’t exactly what I’d call “premium”. I’d agree that more than money needs to be poured into a game to make it good.
Coastal area checking in, same thing for the tsunami alarms. I had some good fun with a tourist when, after they asked what the droning sound was, I replied with “Oh, it’s just the tsunami alarm” and then didn’t react to it. They were visibly nervous, so I waited a sec and then said “It’s just a test 😁”
Hey, I’ll give it a shot. With how many hours I’ve poured into Runescape over the last… 17 years? Damn, it’s been a while. Anyway, with all that time, even if this game was 1/10 the level of fun, it’ll still be a great time for me.
I miss my Zune. It had a great trackpad for scrolling. I had the 8gb model that was about the size of a granola bar. It felt like amazing, futuristic tech!
Fun fact, it’s called a parliament! I regret that I am not an owl.
