  • Yeah, they’re not tied to accounts or consoles. Any console with the card in will be able to play the game after downloading it. You can trade or sell them.

    Codes and boxes are just digital purchases with plastic waste attached and no further benefit.

    They’re shittier than real physical games, but they still do have that one advantage over digital games, just with the drawback that you still have a physical cartridge you have to switch out and carry around. It’s a mixed bag.

    I can’t imagine it’s much easier than Lemmy. As far as self hosting goes Lemmy is pretty standard. And with PieFed being python it’s bound to be less efficient at the same scale.







  • Spanish (and I don’t think French) doesn’t have that many words for “the”. It’s just “El” and “La”.

    I suppose “los” and “las” as well… Sorta. But that’s just plural “El/La”. Which might sound unnecessary but having everything match plurality and grammatical gender does clear up ambiguity sometimes.

    Eso(s)/Esa(s) mean “that/those”
