YTA. People with young kids tend to socialise way less because they dont sleep and its a lot of work. When they do socialise the kids tend to be around because organising childcare is difficult to organise, can be expensive, potentially stressful for the kids. Very frequently the options are take your kids with you to socialise, or dont socialise at all. Its why new parents suddenly start socialising a lot with other parents.
And it might not be as bad as you think, depending on the kids. They may be happy entertaining themselves and sleeping, and you can have a relatively normal time until they wake up and get restless at which point the mum might decide its time for them to leave. Or they could be crying and screaming the whole time.

It used to be a big deal when a public figure got caught doing a Nazi salute. Public apology, condemnation of Nazism, donation to a holocaust victims charity or similar was expected. For him to do it and not even apologise or try to say it was something else and not be stripped of any roles as a result is a dangerous shift.

It does though because it floods the medium with content from people just looking to make money. And it happens everywhere. When ebay started it was an online garage sale, now it’s mostly businesses. Etsy used to be a place where creative types sold their crafts, now its flooded with dropshipped tat from Ali Baba. YouTube used to be random people uploading stuff for fun and expression, now it’s mostly about sponsorship money. Twitter used to be a novel way for people to briefly express their thoughts, now its a fascist propaganda machine.

Jagged alliance 3 is a very solid sequel, it is very long though.
There’s also a mod to fix the portraits which imo look awful in vanilla.
The expansion campaigns, especially hordes of the underdark were much higher quality.
The whole reason I burned out on W3 was trying to be completionist and doing all the map markers before moving to the next area.

That might have been true twenty years ago when the racist political parties were fringe groups with a few % of the vote share in most countries. Now that they’re frequently getting 20 or 30 something % if not winning elections outright I don’t think many people still hold the illusion that there aren’t a lot of racists in Europe.
