  • Yea for real. I live on the middle-ish levels (10-17th floors) and never use the heat. Winter time, my apartment gets heat from the lower areas and sun is hitting my windows from sun rise to sun down, so I actually have to turn on the A/C in the winter cause it’ll get to 75-78. Summer time, the sun is higher up in the sky so it doesn’t shine directly into the apartment so the A/C gets a break.

    That all said, fucking Spring and Fall are a bitch cause the sun is shining directly into my eyes, so I gotta shift around during the day and I gotta adjust the A/C like every hour, cause I’m too hot or too cold











  • Oh shit! Totally forgot about the San Jose Sharks. Ohio was big into Chicago culture at the time so things from LA or NYC (respectfully) wasn’t seen too often and it was always the “black sheep” of the league that went against the norms of mid-west culture.

    Avg mid-western: “San Jose Sharks…ohhh sounds Spanish”


  • Same with Might Ducks gear but they didn’t have an official/professional team. Tbh, the mascots for The Hornets and Might Ducks went hard, that hornet looked mad af haha

    I grew up in Ohio in the 90’s and everyone was wearing Hornets or Chicago Bulls gear (head to toe) and Might Ducks hats/shirts.








  • I get what you’re saying but yes, I think that’s what we want. When a company pays its employees a good salary the employee will stay for a couple of years. When a company pays its employees a great salary ($50-80k+ more than the avg in that area) it encourages employees to stay and work for that same company. You’re getting paid well, you have healthcare, if the company has good benefits(stock, pensions, long term investments), why leave?

    Employees will be happier, product quality will increase, and the company is supplying the community in that area with more money and local taxes. We saw that in the 40’s, 50’s and then yea kinda down hill from there.
