I don’t like this for two reasons:

If you have to lie to a person to get them to like you then they don’t actually like you (or know you). So what’s the point?

If you lie to a person to get them to like you then you’re an abusive manipulator who has no business beimg in a relationship.

This is so true. I basically carry boxes for a living and people tell me constantly that can’t/shouldn’t lift anything heavy. Too many women won’t even try because they’ve been conditioned to think it’s going to break them. One woman refused to lift anything heavy because she still wanted to have children. And by heavy i mean 12-25kg. We are not that fragile.

I got ublacklist and got rid of tiktok and instagram immediately but i still dislike the whole format. Tried a bunch of other search engines and they all seemed pretty similar.

I agree we’re over exposed to all the bad stuff and echoey internet rabbit holes are a definite problem. Antidepressants haven’t had any effect on me but i’ve learned to live without joy. I have no desire to take it away from others or judge their outlook on life.

Those are all good things and we have record rates of depression and anxiety to go with them. Yay!

FWIW i seem to lack the ability to feel joy in anything, as a result I only feel the pain of living which gives me an extremely skewed viewpoint. Enjoy whatever you can in life.

That they desctibe themselves as trying to decipher signals. If they said upfront that they were interested and asked how the woman felt they would presumably get some kind of answer. Ghosting is a pretty clear signal too.

Have you considered being upfront and honest about your feelings? Why are you trying to piece together signals instead of just saying you’re interested?
