The ending of A Boy and his Dog is what brings everything together in kind of a punchline sort of way. People that said they could not watch very long need to watch it in its entirety to appreciate the movie as a whole.
Is it a great movie? Hell no, but it is an interesting and slightly thought-provoking movie.
Who knows what future awaits us after society goes to shit. Survival would be number one. Think about what happened in 28 Days Later, or how social norms quickly break down in The Mist.

Alchemy of Souls on Netflix. A mix of Kung Fu Theater, a comedy, a love story, and a horror all rolled into one great story. It ran two seasons and each episode is over an hour long. 10/10
That does not look like the style of clothing worn back then so I will call it faked, but the jist of it is still hilarious.
To be fair, you live in a large city. Cities here in the states also have many points of interest close by. In the suburbs, places are more spread out, same as they would be in the UK. It’s all about location.
Treasure of Nadia is a really good King’s Quest style game on Steam.
