I run a simple calculation in my mind, a movie costs~15$ and lasts for a few hours. If a game i’m buying has a good chance of beating that ratio, i’ll buy it.
If there are no other comments in this thread, it’s because aMockTie has summed it up perfectly and concisely.

Worse, decking that has long since been sent to the landfill and replaced with Trex and the like
I use “Yesterday for old reddit” for a rough Apollo-like experience on iOS devices. That being said, i’m gradually shifting away from reddit as i find more communities on lemmy.
It’s funny how we used to have this trope of the mighty censorship bureau that has to rubberstamp everything (like they do for movies) but the reality is that the sycophants will trip over themselves to censor their neighbors in order to please those above. In Reddits case you have subreddit mods banning and censoring to please the reddit mods, who are trying to please reddit management, who are trying to please people like Musk, who are trying to please Trump. Trump doesn’t have to say anything, those low level Mods are doing all the censoring for him pro bono.
Banned from politics after someone said there was going to be violence. I said “the tree of liberty and all that, right?”. Facism takes root when people self censor and over compensate.
early on there was an analysis that showed it was closest to the South African right wing version. Which kinda makes sense, no?
As someone caught out by this, most of us had speakers and windows had volume controls as well. They’re kinda useless to have super low volume, so the tendency was to turn the speakers up and have windows control it. (what could go wrong? mine was always set low in windows, this was before lots of ads on browsers would randomly come on too) Fortunately everyone thought it was the guy in the cubicle next to me, with about 10-15 heads popping out of cubicles in our direction.
And for what it’s worth the audio clip finished with an enthusiastic “YEE HAW”
