The concept really is bullshit, and that’s coming from a German. For certain kinds of triple digit numbers people sometimes resort to saying the single digits in a row (“drei fünf neun” instead of dreiundertneunundfünfzig). Less misunderstandings, and faster.
I do a lot of gyro aiming on my controller. Do only need certain parts of my body for that, not the whole.

I always suggest to read the whole disc world series in the order of their publication - first of all they’re all very entertaining books, and the order of publication develops the whole scenario as Terry Pratchett intended.
