I develop the bot for !news_summary@hilariouschaos.com as a foss project. I get multiple people per week pointing out bugs (most people are nice about it and its genuinely helpful to know what’s going wrong) but some people are absolute dicks about it. I simply tell people I’d be greatful if they made a pull but otherwise I’ll get to it when I feel like it.

Nginx does not have default SSL but the example I’ve uploaded has its quite a simple setup and gives you far greater control and modularity.

Social networks benefit from the network effect. The ides behind federation is to make the network effect work for everyone by making leaving the system an u tenable position. The beautiful part of federation and activpub in particular is that because all content is shared across the same protocol one service improves all the others. Having a short form video service might not be particularly popular but it will then integrate with the rest of the fediverse improving it and cementing the network effect for all services.

This would be more powerful if we could figure out fediversal accounts tho.

That sounds an awful lot like its the setup for some authoritarian talking point. The whole point of restricting freedom within a society is so that the total amount of freedom is increased. For instance ur freedom to murder people is being restricted because killing someone denies that person of their own freedom to live. Ur night out murdering is less units of freedom than an entire lifetime of freewill.

The only possible way to interpret the lecturers statement that is logically congruent is to claim that your freedoms are being restricted so that your safety can be increased by reducing the risk you pose to yourself. Its literally you being told that someone else will be making your decisions on your behalf because your too dumb to decide for yourself. Pure authoritarian bootlicking.

Its the same argument used by extremists to deny women’s rights to get an abortion.

Tbh I see it as free entertainment. Doing dishes and telling some guy that u computer needs a windows update and after he says to click the ignore button 500 times to say u want to update to ensure no scammers can hack you.

I defiantly got onto the call more list at one point but I kept being the biggest pain in the ass and one day they just stopped completely. I once had these one people on the phone for 6hours straight and went through about 4 transfers in the process.
