That’s fucked, the more android progresses the less usable it becomes it seems. Even budget 2.3 phones had it built-in afaik

Get a file explorer. Mine has a “recent” tab where all the new stuff is. I can also move or copy files easily. Vanilla explorer is not very good but it does have the basics covered. It is annoying not to have a system-wide download dialog though.
I suspect part of why google’s app is subpar is to promote their cloud storage.
Factory recertified is probably the way to go if you want powerful hardware for (relatively) cheap, new gpu prices just don’t make sense anymore. Even back when RX 6x50 refreshes came out shit wasn’t so cartoonishly expensive
Ah, that explains it. Convenience (and good service) is a strong piracy preventer.
By the time I was old enough to install operating systems activating them became trivial, nowadays MAS makes it even easier. Also it’s probably cultural, piracy used to be so much bigger here. Still fairly big tbh, hell, my ISP’s homepage has a couple of articles explaining how torrents work lol
Suffering olympics aren’t real. eg You don’t have to participate
You never had to pay. It’s not like they’re gonna actually support you as a lowest level consumer, fuck em
I waffle with it being sometimes impossible to avoid.
Just close the door lol
the same way they were 10-15 years ago
So with more crunch and no unions? It goes both ways, it’s not a monolithic culture where passage of time simply makes things worse
Eh, it’s also the connector’s fault. Not saying they’re not to blame for creating junk, but it’s a bunch of companies (pcisig) who created the standard. Even Sapphire’s implementation is flawed.
Good, the last time I tried their radiator didn’t want to touch the die
spotx still works fine, if you want to use that in migration
Or maybe they’re just really into old Fords
circle selection - stroke selection
edit: or path, whatever you prefer
Probably Abu Ghraib ones, they’re all awful, so i don’t want to pick one
Mine are trained to understand that hissing = wrong, the kind you do when inhaling with your teeth clenched. Can recommend, you’re very unlikely to make that sound by accident and afaik cats are great at picking up similar sounds (so it gets their attention better)
If it’s something serious I take them to the scene of the crime, pinch the neck folds (do not ever carry them by that btw) and speak in an angry voice. Works best with cats that have more than 2 braincells lol
edit: mine would ignore the ear flicks, it’s not even an annoyance to them
Reminds me of car startups (in the US) taking off one wheel, turning them into moto/autocycles, so they wouldn’t have to go through expensive car certification processes
Exactly, it’s an awful treadmill. EA as a whole was at nearly 60% profit last year. Coupled with layoffs, it seems they’re trying to keep that infinite spend as potential as possible lol
I just hope something good comes out of recent ex-rspn teams.
Afaik they’re still using awful third-party servers, lag compensation is still aggressive as fuck, they tried to “fix” visibility by slapping a bandaid in the form of healthbars, and the anticheat thing was another bandaid instead of a surgery. Overall it’s kinda stuck, all of the old issues are still there.
They have a shitload of new cosmetics though, if that’s your jam. Funnily enough, they were so greedy even esport orgs didn’t want to keep working with them. Rspn offered a one-time payment, orgs wanted a percentage of sales. Mind you, it’s a fairly big esport that advertises the game for them (btw played on better servers than available in-game).
The last of America’s Army games, see this steamdb page for screenshots. I tried it years ago and got a vibe of proto-insurgency, it’s somewhat realistic, even the tutorial is decent, but as you can imagine they just wanted a good recruitment tool and this wasn’t it.
