These all sound like the same kind of aesthetic as ‘hand crafted’ where you can tell someone put on the finishing touches or details in a way that matched the materials or is a tiny bit uneven.

It could also be from people who think that the people are fictional, because they haven’t personally met similar dysfunctional people.
I can confirm that people exist who fit these kinds of behaviors and personalities and they do tend to cluster together, especially around role playing games.
It sounds like he is struggling with trying to be an open minded and accepting person and the bigotry that often comes with a life that leads to being an aspiring catholic priest.
This is the best thing I have read this month, and I did not see the twist coming!
I wouldn’t suggest cocaine since it isn’t as safe and consistently formulated as a prescription med.
If Concerta availability is horrible and you haven’t tried many of the other options that have generic versions, you might talk to your doctor about what options you have. I did not respond well to the newer, expensive ones but generic for Ritalin worked out well and that has some availability issues, but not as many as some of the others.
This is so relatable!
While being diagnosed in my 30s, I mentioned that cocaine made me relaxed which helped with finding the right medication on the second try.
I know it sounds crazy, but I swear the emotion there was like the first cow was trying to wake up the hit cow
That isn’t crazy. Tons of social mammals do that, including cows.
A picture of a dog’s head resting in someone’s lap doesn’t mean they would act the same around a stranger. Same for cows.
That stare as he pulls the lever is fantastic!
They probably saved 30 billion through sales and got even more worth out of finding the games they really enjoy that they may have never even tried without the sales.
I can confidently say that I spend less per year on games now than 25 years ago, very rarely regret a purchase, and don’t bother with refunds (which I hear are easy) because if I buy three games for cheap and spend all my time on one then I got my money’s worth.
Hell, I spend less each year than my wife spends on switch games and get way more entertainment out of it.
Pretty busy at the moment, I’ll get back to this later when I have sone free time.
“This shit is oily! Hey Bob, can I borrow a match for my pipe?”
Fumbles lit match.
Like early Netflix before they all decided they would make their own shitty streaming services and didn’t renew contracts.
The joke is even easier when you have a goatee!
Huh, my first thought was that they went to the farm upstate where everyone’s pets end up.
I have spent the last two decades being absolutely miserable because I have to get up at 6 a.m. and my body has never adjusted. No, it doesn’t matter how long I sleep, if I get up before 8 a.m. then no amount of sleep is going to make me feel rested.
When I take vacations and get up around 8:00 then I feel fine all day.
Them: “I just wake up at 4 a.m. naturally and can’t seem to sleep in!”
Also them: “Have you tried to bed and waking up earlier? All it takes is practice!”
Just like how italian, German, and Chinese foods came about! America is just more recent and we tend to keep the labels of the influences ao it is more obvious.
That was my behavior prior to taking meds, although I don’t take that one.
The real trap is assuming anything from a culture applies to everyone, or even the majority, of the culture.
America definitely has a “fuck it, good enough” worldview for a lot of things and institutions. It isn’t universal, but it does apply where you see a bunch of half assed infrastructure or shelves upon shelves of cheap low quality products that a ton of people spend money on knowing it is poor quality.
