Bee keepers get stung all the time
Yup! I got some cyberpower ones from costco. Wrote a script to test and send me the results first saturday of each month. If it fails, there goes my saturday lol.
Sometimes they get into a state that requires a hard reset. Happened to me a few times and was losing power during brownouts. Learned to test regularly after that.
Think sunset coming through a window
Nothing. Purpose implies the potential for failure and while there are certainly circumstances that I would consider personal failures, there are none so great that they would invalidate my existence.
That said, I have a vision for my life and the state of the world that I would like to see realized. I want to see a world where climate change is taken seriously and recognized as the imminent threat that it is. It will be waiting on the other side of every economic crisis or war that man chooses to wage.
these also showed back up on my wishlist
Is that what everyone is worried about? I’m more worried about the IPs getting turned into something bland or botched releases due to overly aggressive deadlines. Examples being bioware, bungie, infinity ward, and obsidian which were all acquired by larger companies and as a result turned into “meat grinders” responsible only for churning out titles to feed their parent companies.
Before anyone else mentions it, I will say Insomniac has been a success under Sony — releasing spiderman and ratchet and clank. That said, a company is not a person. You cannot trust companies to behave consistently.
Same. Dark souls, bloodborne, sekiro, and elden ring are my favorite games of all time. Rest of the world is going to shit. Seems like we just can’t have nice things.
This is not new and it does work to some extent. Back in highschool my buddies and I used to cheat at hot wings challenges by chewing a few cough drops first.
I want this so I can be sure my phone isn’t sneaking a peek at my pooping face
Just had a look. Weird choice of hill to die on
nah it was here just deep in the negative https://lemmy.world/post/20843892
Not just an engineer thing though. Everyone finds it obnoxious.
that would be because electric eels are fish, not eels.
On my phone but see phylogeny https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_eel
Yeah. Komga + Komf seems like overkill for your use case too. Komf would definitely get around the limitation of english editions only.
Readarr can track comics/manga too but unless you’re interested in only indexing by author I have found it less than ideal.
Tachidesk or sorayomi or whatever they are calling it now may be an option? Like the other tools I have mentioned it’s primary function is for piracy but I don’t see why you couldn’t just add sources and add series to library without downloading. Again would need dummy files to track owned vs unowned.
I use Komga + Komf for digitals but seems like you could do simply with mylar without a download agent. Might need to create a dummy file for each issue you own to change status to owned. Been ages since I have used so not sure.
thanks for pointing that out kind stranger
Personally tired of hearing about it. I disagree on the morality of this and made an acct on another instance. Can do same with communities on lemmy.world if we could all agree to move to them.
