If something was written by V3 and then published, that text doesn’t get updated every time a new version of chatGPT comes out.
The text isn’t dynamic.

It could be a new level added to the peer review of work. Nothing to do with the university. Just “other professionals”.
A thesis isn’t just an exam, it’s a real scientific paper.
And usually claims is contents as fact, which can be referenced by others as fact.
And absolutely should be open to scrutiny so long as it is relevant.
Yeah but if your wrote your thesis in 2024, and the detector is run on it in 2026…
You’re probably busted.
It’s not like you’ll re-write your thesis with every major ChatGPT release.
I bet AI detection is going to get a lot better over time.
I wonder if there’s going to be retrospective testing of theses as time goes on.
Could really damage some careers down the line.
Edit: guys, retrospective testing means it was done later (i.e. with a more up to date AI detector).
I was not asked for permission by this meme to use my likeness.
Don’t get really drunk or stoned and end up being obnoxious.
Try to be aware of traffic (especially bikes) and of blocking sidewalks/alleys etc. Look both ways on every lane of traffic you cross (including both bike lanes).
Try to branch out your trip from the exact center of the city (or by the train station) and don’t rent an Airbnb inside the city center (they drive up local rents).
If you’re standing on red bricks or red tarmac, you’re probably blocking the bike lane.
If you can’t see the bike lane, it’s likely that you’re standing in it (they aren’t always marked).
I once went to a Polish restaurant and the starter was pork fat on toast.
And a hazelnut vodka.
There are many ways for a heart to implode.
I wonder if 3d printing a fake handle to stick out is worth the trouble.
Being licensed anyway would be good if you were stopped, but it would weigh less and you wouldn’t risk losing it.
Presume there’s laws about leaving it unsupervised etc while out the house.
I like to call pair-programming sessions (for bugs) “bebuggery sessions” at work and people haven’t complained yet.
This is one of my favourite buildings. It’s all broken up from a distance, so it doesn’t look like just another one of the blocky skyscrapers from that area, and the glass is all tinted sky blue so the amount of visual pollution it causes is so minimal.
Developing countries (supposedly mainly China) just keep all their livestock on them all the time.
Which is a massive petri-dish for developing antibiotic-resistant bacteria just about as fast as you can.
We’re riding this wave over in the Total War community too. Broken game, weak and overpriced DLC.
We kicked off (and then all their other games managed to flop at once, so they came crawling back) and now we’ve got a notable amount more effort into the DLC coming at the end of the month, as well as price cuts, refunds and redoing of the bad DLC.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, but I’m seeing positive movements in general on legacy resting-on-laurels games.
I jump between languages so much I can never remember the structure.
for item in items? Or item of items or items as item?
Best to just have the IDE auto complete it.
There were some great levels.
The abandoned ice prison was great.
And uhhhh… well no other ones are currently in my memory. That can’t be a bad sign, can it?
Man that zero-g casino could have been so cool. But it was just… nothing-y.
Some diff tools don’t handle indentation by default.
So if you add a wrapper, it counts everything inside it as “changed”
sets the diff to ignore whitespace
Lines changed: 3
Ah yes, the American dream.
I also don’t want to be marketed at. If it’s good I’ll find out organically.
And I don’t want to find out about it at/before release-time. Because then I’ll want to buy it on release.
That’s the time the game is most buggy and least optimised (maybe also unbalanced too).
Complaining it didn’t sell well enough on release is some real crybaby stuff as well.
“It didn’t go exactly the best way I wanted it to go 😭😭”
How about:
Company rehires a percentage of its workforce, with the lowered demand for those specific workers driving salaries down.
