If it is an intel based machine, it’s no really much different than any other machine. The only difference would be in how you get to the boot menu. That’s about it.

I bet you thought you were so woke for this.
Because my new intel integrated graphics cause Wayland to run like a slideshow.
Nah, above is photographic proof of where wind comes from.
There’s someone at my work who really needs to see this…
People will spend hours learning things that save them seconds.
Had to see it to believe it. On their website, under Support > Forum, you’re redirected to their Facebook group. This is criminal.
I got one of those NUCs at work that has new Intel XE integrated graphics. X11 works amazing, but wayland operates like a slideshow when I move windows around. Never looked much into it, just went to X11 and never went back.
The remaster game out a couple years ago and metacritic’ed for 80. So no, I don’t think I really needed to “temper my expectations”. https://www.metacritic.com/game/alan-wake-remastered/
What were you expecting?
Something good given the insanely good reviews the original and the remake got. I’m just saying I disagreed and didn’t enjoy the game. What’s your end goal with this comment? Are you agreeing with me? Are you calling me dumb? Are you okay?
Just finished the Alan Wake Remaster. Really hated it, but apparently that is an unpopular opinion. I just felt like the story is not as innovative as people say and the mechanics are the same from the start to the finish.
I’m now playing Dredge. Really enjoying that game right now. I’m traveling so my Steam Deck is getting some use. I’ll be switching between Dredge and Cult of the Lamb while I’m away.
A few searches turned up that it’s pretty legit. Pay with a credit card so that you’re protected though. You have no idea what happens to that info after you enter it.
Heck, I just played the demo for Octopath Traveler 2, but this was a self-published demo by the studio. It was enough for me to know this game wasn’t for me but I’m thankful I didn’t have to buy it and refund it as a result.
Maybe this?
Every instance of every such component was already running in a separate thread, but now they can actually run in parallel.
Okay yeah, then you’re absolutely right.
Yup. I can’t live without it now. The only thing I had to change is to remember to open my work laptop before I leave for the day so that it syncs. About one a week I do a backup with my NAS at home
Syncthing. Once you set it up, there is almost no going back. It doesn’t pass through servers though so your backup machine also needs to be on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syncthing
Yes, why would expect otherwise?
Because I know very little about network and is why I’m seeking help/input. Thank you for your input.
Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for. I’ve found essentially less than 1ms of latency between my mini router and my landlord’s router and I’m very happy with that.
Yes, until you install an update. Then it’s best practice to run it again.
