“The negotiations could have been a Signal chat” would be be, but what you have is a dependent clause that does not contain a verb indicating what the negotiations did.
13·17 days ago👍, the consolidation of the duplicates/crossposts on my feed alone was enough to gradually make piefed my daily driver. I’ve liked the change so far, and conceptually favor decentralizing not only away from a single instance, but also a single platform.

6·1 month agoNot to mention the cost savings difference. Developer salaries make a ChatGPT subscription look like a bargain. C-level salaries make racks of dedicated hardware to run local models look like one.

What happened there? I get the messages occasionally on my lemmy account, but don’t know any of the backstory or current events surrounding it.
The email also mentioned they’ll be donating it to a nonprofit, to be decided upon by the people who sign up early. It’s not ideal, but it doesn’t seem especially evil either.

Actually, clicking through to the images that elon was replying to, the user had commented that elon isn’t a nazi and didn’t do a nazi salute. I’m choosing to interpret this as the part that elon was calling insane, not the banning.

It’s not always the hated alternative that wins, hence why we’re here right now.
There also needs to be punishment harsher than a couple bad headlines and $600 worth of identity protection services. If they have personal data, it should be more expensive to have it leaked like this than to have adequate data security in place.
