    In general?

I would say autistic fixations are intense interests, sometimes inappropriate things in the eyes of non autistic people, sometimes maybe just obscure.

    Cool username btw.

Hm… often a fixation like that tells you you need love in your life or friendship. Is that possible?

Since folks seem to misunderstand my comment: I‘m not talking from an esoteric standpoint but a psychological one.

Lacking closeness to others can be a reason why people immerse themselves in carefully scripted depictions of social interactions which can lead to fixation.

Not sure why downvoted. I’d say if a fixation comes with voluntary self-isolation it shows that something is amiss, although it might not be the lack of love.

I found that I very much hide inside of my obscure interests when subconsciously talking about important stuff with my loved ones.

Oh wow. Yes, I didnt think that either. Some people probably felt called out or misunderstood what I meant.

Obviously, it can be a range of things. I tried to factor in what things are displayed in animes a lot. Often its success, reliable plot, emotion, sexuality, etc.
