You can be a cop with a high-school diploma and a few weeks of training, and it’s almost impossible to get booted from the industry once you’re in.

If you fuck up bad enough you go to Leavenworth for a long stay whereas all these shitbags with hand me down MRAPs get a month of paid leave and the city they work for pays out restitution to people who’ve been horribly wronged while they clock insane overtime and moonlighting checks using the badge for profit.
You basically just need to be a US citizen who speaks English to be an ICE agent, and the pay starts higher than I’ve ever made, before the 5-figure bonuses for deployment.
