I posted this in Privacy, and News.ml
They were both removed for “off topic” and “lemmy rules”. Good times. It’s fun to see them literally censor news reports about censorship in China.
This, by the way, is actual real freedom of speech censorship. It’s censoring anyone that talks about the government.
Also, i love that they banned an .ee account for six months. That’s just extra special sauce.
Unfortunatly it’s the instance with the most vocal about the genocide in palestine. Their video communiry allow political videos unlime lemmy.world one which consider human right activism as political
They literally practice anti-freedom of speech. Just because they’re anti Palestine genocide it doesn’t make them good guys.
That’s like saying “oh but hexbear is gay inclusive” when in reality they’re a toxic cesspool of hate.
I am not saying that they are good guys. Jus that i follow palestinian news on some of the communities on ml
Check out Lemmy.ca.
We are (mostly) a more tolerant and progressive people on most issues.
https://lemmy.ca/c/palestine
I can’t even post stuff on the community
I tried to redirect my cross-posting stream there, but it’s locked to mods only
There is more posts in one day on ML Palestine sub than a whole month in .ca
Not anymore there won’t be, especially since now I have to redirect my work there because the actual second biggest c/palestine comm is !palestine@lemm.ee on ee sad lol
Redirect to lemmy.ca?
It’s locked to moderators lmao ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If the mod doesn’t want to unlock for whatever reason, there’s also !palestine@sopuli.xyz that can be built up
And the way to change that is…
Maybe start allowing others to post
