EU rallies behind International Criminal Court after US sanctions four judges

The four judges in The Hague, all women, will be barred entry to the United States and any property or other interests in the world’s largest economy will be blocked – measures more often taken against policymakers from US adversaries than against judicial officials.

Trump’s initial order announcing sanctions on the ICC also said that U.S. citizens who provide services for the benefit of sanctioned individuals could face civil and criminal penalties.

    most people in the US were too distracted

    Don’t worry folks, the 125 party states were not distracted. Can’t say if it will have consequences for the US or it’s citizens but this is not going unnoticed.
