I honestly don’t see how the average working class adult find that time. I feel like gaming is a luxury for rich/middle-class teens.

Last thing I played was Inside. Being an adult with a family and demanding work leaves little free time. Some house project always seems to pop up. I feel guilty taking a lot of time to fuck off. Reading a book feels like a better way to spend free time, also more enriching. When I play a game, it is an indulgence like eating candy. I’m at the age where I want more than just consuming media. I’d rather learn something or make something. Also, I’m way out of touch with gaming culture and unlikely to catch up.
