The former billionaire, who inherited a coal mining business from his father, presides over a state where 29% of residents are on Medicaid

When Senator Jim Justice of West Virginia was asked about the Senate Republicans’ newly released portion of the proposed spending bill that requires parents of children older than 14 to work for Medicaid, he said, “biblically, we are supposed to work.”

“Biblically” you should go out there and donate your wealth to the poor people that you’re shitting on. All of it. Go spread the word of the Lord. Get out there, help people. Do it, you won’t. No balls.

Well that is because you are interpreting that part of the bible wrong /s

Christians love their bible. The parts they can use to oppress people. The other parts they just ignore.

They quote “Paul” more than Jesus. Paul probably wrote 7 out of 28 books in the New Testament. Another 7 are attributed to him. It used to be very popular to pretend to be Paul. Odds are, a lot of the stuff they’re quoting came from some random guy (well, that’s most of the Bible, let’s be honest), and the rest was altered by a bunch of monks to better fit the message that nobles, monarchs, and the Church wanted to push, which was subservience.
