I am posting images daily to some communities. With the months I’m loosing track of what was already posted by me and others.
So does someone know a service (preferably a website) where I can input a image or link and see in which communities and when it was posted?

Edit: Well, I should have clarified from the beginning my intention behind this question.
I was thinking about creating such a service. So I wanted to know if similar already exists (and so save me the effort of development). Also I wanted to sample from the comments if there is interest in such a tool.

Current result: there is no such service but reposts are not really to worry much about.

For URLs just put the URL into the lemmy search and it will find any posts with it.

For images there isnt really anything because it would require hashing all images uploaded to all instances and then allow people to search through them which is computationally expensive. Basically you want reverse image search like tineye.com but only for lemmy.
