Snowflake energy? Na man I’m just realistic. I have never met anyone who recommended Witcher 1/2 online or irl. It’s always about Witcher 3, and that’s because it’s still very playable and one of the best games ever.

It’s the less extreme version of Baldur’s Gate 3. Technically, there are two other games, but you won’t seriously recommend games 1 and 2 to anyone.

I know you understand my point, and it’s easier to say I’m a snowflake rather than actually say anything useful.

Let’s be honest, he’s only got 1 game. I tried going back to Witcher 1 and 2 after playing 3 and it’s impossible to adjust to the older game UI. Modding or tweaking it is also not worth it imo so I wouldn’t mind another Geralt game.

Who said I was rushing? Gathering the collectables is a chore so I just progressed through the story and finished it.

Edit: Also my friend 100% the new Doom game on the highest difficulty in 21 hours. Doom games are short in general.

I finished DOOM (2016) in 8.8 hours. Granted I didn’t stop for collectables and was on normal mode. I tried Eternal but got bored after 2 hours so that’s what I’m basing it off.

My steam friends currently have about 17 hours (they bought it early) but they like collecting stuff and getting 100% achievements. I’m not sure how long the story is without 100%ing it but it shouldn’t be too different from the other games.

Eh 70 dollars for 10 hours of repetitive gameplay is bad value anyway.

If it doesn’t work with normal proton or bleeding edge proton experimental, then I refund.

8bitdo controllers are fucking amazing.

id recommend AMD GPU not just because its drivers are open source but they usually have a bit more VRAM which actually matters.

These latest drivers had been annoying tf outta me though. Random screen glitches while using 3080 for weeks.

I felt this too. I made a new PC from a 3080 to a 7900 XT and I went from 30 FPS in Monster Hunter WIlds to 110 FPS (using linux). Even though I improved the CPU from 3800x to 9800 X3D, I feel like the 20 GB VRAM is the biggest factor. I hope Intel can catch up with GPUs because AMD is the only reasonable option rn.

God it feels so good looking at this news with a newly bought AMD GPU thinking “I don’t have to worry about NVIDIA’s bullshit anymore.” 🥳

Let’s not become delusional now. Linux as an overall operating system feels much better to use but only because we care to become tech savvy and to troubleshoot. There are so many headaches that come with Linux which makes it unattractive to most people.
