This year, Microsoft is busy charming European policymakers. It is doing so again by insisting that Europeans’ data will remain on the continent, regardless of whether the US government requires access to it.

    Well, when the US agencies copy the data, one copy technically does remain on the server which may be located in Europe.

    Lies, or the USA will have remote access. The policy makers should stop taking bribes anyway, it’s not honorable.
