Only if you get close enough that one can charge you. Otherwise it’s a good time to see them all put in the open and mashing antlers.
Yeah they’ve kinda learned that they are safe in Rocky Mountain National Park and in Estes so they’re chill. Still wild animals though and I wouldn’t really wanna be that close to one like in the picture.

That’s where members of the Elks Lodge sit obviously.
The Elk is probably thinking it finally met some sensible humans who know how to take a minute to sit and look around.
