Stephen Lynch
All babies look like actor Wallace Shawn. Any resemblance to their parents is overridden by their resemblance to Wallace Shawn and may be coincidental or imagined.
Not true, my baby looked like Grand Nagus Zek
Inconceivable! Some also look like Winston Churchill.
Newborns are either papier mache aliens or middle aged men who work in sales. There is no other.
Sometimes I feel like my wife and I are the only ones who think that most infants are ugly.
Many people think that all but their own infants are ugly. You are just more vocal about it
I think all babies look the same.
There’s probably a lot of people who think that, but avoid saying it out loud.
No, lots of us. Who wants to be the first to confront them and tell them the truth? One of our family members just had one, sent out photos. I swear, it looked like a 97 year old man. It got lots of likes. 🤷♂️ I made the comment to my partner that it must of been over-baked.
So the prophecy is fulfilled and Benjamin Button is finally born, I see
I think they’re more creepy in a eerie rather than actually scary sort of way, kids tend to give me “uncanny valley” to an increasing degree the younger they are. I don’t hold it against the kids themselves mind, they can’t exactly help it, but I prefer not to be around young kids if I can help it just because they make me uncomfortable and on edge.
Nah, my partner and I think babies are ugly.
Eddie Murphy and John Leguizamo both have hilarious bits about experiencing the birth of their first child. Basically describing it like the alien movies.
I’m convinced that John Leguizamos baby looked like this:
I remember when my first was born. 2 different parts of my brain had opposing thoughts.
1 part was thinking “This is the cutest, most beautiful thing ever. I must protect and nurture them at all costs.”
The other part was thinking “My god newborn babies are ugly!”
I can easily see cognitive dissonance pushes most people to the first thought. It’s you being hacked by hormones, an effect that is disturbingly powerful.
I was also caught out by how much my (male) hormones were affected, even pre birth. It both disturbed and amused my wife.
Sister said once that “they kinda look like a potato thing”. My other sister with her then half a year old didn’t like hearing that.
Now the potato thing got cute.
dissidencedissonanceFixed. 👍

Based on the other comments from this account I guess you’re a human. Then why did you post an AI overview of the two terms that is verbose and uses a partly circular definition?
If you’re trying to say that they should have used the other you can say that with your own words that are likely more concise and fitting to the topic at hand.
Because googling is still the most efficient way to obtain an overview of a subject
Sorry I hurt your feelings
And so instead of looking at search results you looked at the section written by an AI, that is wrong so often that people regularly make fun of it, and then didn’t even bother to check whether it was correct/made sense or include context for why the result of the (unknown) search terms was necessary.
I personally would argue that Wikipedia or a dictionary are more likely to be correct in most cases but I don’t even know what you were looking for.
I’m just confused why you or anybody else would want that AI overview pasted here. Is it secretly just to annoy everybody and get exactly this kind of attention?
didn’t even bother to check whether it was correct
Unless you can tell me how it was incorrect, your response is performative and attention-whoring.
Well I can’t anymore for obvious reasons but I believe the contradiction was the circular definition of one of the terms.
Well, the top-level commenter fixed their comment, so mine served its purpose, despite this alleged “circular definition.” Maybe next time take a step back and appreciate that not everyone has to use the same resources and methods you do.
At that point you’ve already invested so much of your health and money to get there, a harmless lie to justify it all is fine.
Adipose.
Tbh I think you’re not really unbiased when you just created human life
Breathtaking
why is the swedish prime minister in this
Friend of mine hadn’t ever seen a newborn baby before she gave birth. She was quite shocked when her newborn daughter “looked like an old man”
I find them cute tbh, they’re so tiny, and those tiny fingers holding up stuff.
I don’t get how they are so strong

When I look back at pictures of my kids when they were newborn, they look like little rats. Still were genuinely cute at the time. They just don’t photograph well.
